The Great Wildebeest Calving Season in Ndutu, Safari has been crafted specifically to suit following the Great Serengeti Wildebeest migration during the calving season from December to April. The areas to be visited are Lake Ndutu area, the Southern and Central of Serengeti National Park where the majority of the wildebeest often reside. A visit to the world-known Ngorongoro Crater is a segment of this safari too.
The Southern Serengeti (Ndutu) areas in Tanzania are the best and an ideal location for January, February, and March to witness the astonishing spectacle of thousands of wildebeest roaming around the plains grazing on the rich short green pastures. Predator action is at its peak with great spotting of lion, hyena, cheetah, and elusive leopard and a very good chance to spot adrenaline-packed kills.

A company representative of Asili Explorer will pick you up from the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). From here, you will be driven to a hotel in Arusha and You will be given a briefing on your upcoming safari. Enjoy a restful night before beginning your safari tomorrow.

Arusha is not a particularly astonishing city in itself and is regarded by many visitors as little more than a necessary stopover before their safari starts in earnest. After breakfast, We Will Start heading to Tarangire National Park. We Will have some game viewing in the national park to increase your chances of more wildlife spotting. Before sunset, We Will start heading to a small nearby town of Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
Tarangire is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania after Ruaha, Serengeti, Mikumi, Katavi and Mkomazi. Activities will include a wildlife game drive where you can see pythons climb trees, as well as lions and leopards among others. For the bird lovers, keep an eye for the screeching flocks of colorful yellow-collared lovebirds, and the somewhat drabber rufous-tailed weaver and ashy starling. These are all endemic to Me dry savannah of north-central Tanzania.

Morning After breakfast, we will start heading to the Ndutu area situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, which is part of the southern Serengeti National Park ecosystem.
Lake Ndutu like most other rift lakes is alkaline (base), however, the water is still drinkable and consumed by a wide array of local wildlife The majority of the wildebeest trail can normally be spotted on the short-grass plains tram from December to April. The area is often densely populated with elephant herds, a variety of bird species, and resident game.

After breakfast, you will enjoy breakfast in the Ndutu area exploring a great range of various habitats such as wetland and seasonal swamps, woodland, soda lakes, and the world-famous Serengeti short green grass. You will spot groups of wildebeest and zebras, especially during a short period from around February and lasting for about 3 weeks where the majority of the wildebeest calves. Later continue with game viewing while heading to Serengeti Central for dinner and overnight.
The sea of grass provides little cover and the young make easy prey for a variety of predators like hyena Wildebeest calves can run within 3minutes after they are born and within 3 days, they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd. Package Inclusion

Serengeti offers an extraordinary game-viewing experience in the entire of Africa giving you an up-close spectacle of the animals you have only seen in National Geographic Documentaries great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, thousands of elands, topi, kongoni, impala Thomson`s and Grant’s gazelle.

After breakfast We will start departing to Ngorongoro Crater, by sunset we go straight to your accommodation.
Ngorongoro is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Great Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. It is not a national park in the strict sense of the word but was rather established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources.
Birdwatchers and bird enthusiasts will also find Lake Manyara to be a perfect destination, with a huge variety of bird species on display in the park. Even birders can expect to be amazed by a large group of flamingos (flamboyance), circling birds of prey, and the beautifully colored lilac-breasted roller.
Lunch will be served in the park at the picnic site, and in the afternoon, you will be heading back to Arusha.

We Will depart after breakfast and go directly to Lake Manyara National Park. Later in the afternoon, will drive back to Arusha.
Lake Manyara National Park, the park offers a compact game-viewing circuit and is one of the most varied reserves in the country. The lake itself covers two-thirds of the park and the Great Rift Valley provides an astonishing background. Over 400 bird species can be spotted in the Lake Manyara National Park, including thousands of lesser flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as great white pelicans, ducks, cormorants, and yellow-bellied storks.
